Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 7, 2026
Batocchio is built on a simple principle: we collect nothing. The app has no accounts of ours, no analytics, and no tracking. Online play runs entirely through Apple's Game Center — there is no server of ours involved.
Batocchio does not collect:
Online multiplayer uses Apple's Game Center. Your Game Center identity — your player ID and display name — is provided by Apple and used only to run matches and to show who is playing. We do not collect it, and we do not store it on any server of ours, because there is no server of ours.
Your use of Game Center is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can manage your Game Center account and its privacy settings in the Settings app on your device.
The state of each game — the cards, melds, and scores — travels inside the Game Center match itself and is stored and forwarded by Apple to the players in that match. We keep no separate copy and run no database.
The app stores small preferences — such as your local player and display settings — in your device's standard UserDefaults storage. This stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.
Batocchio includes no third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs. The only external frameworks used are Apple's own system frameworks (SwiftUI and GameKit).
Batocchio does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected by the app at all, it is safe for users of all ages. Game Center itself may apply its own age-related settings, which are managed through Apple.
If we ever change this policy, the updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. We will never introduce data collection without clearly communicating it first.
