Pace Buddy

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Pace Buddy, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Not Medical Advice

Pace Buddy is a fitness and training aid, not a medical device or a medical service. The training plans, pace targets, and coaching cues it provides are for general fitness and are not medical advice. Training plans in the app, including built-in templates, are general starting points and are not tailored to your individual health, fitness, or circumstances. You decide whether a plan is right for you. Running is a strenuous activity. You are responsible for deciding whether it is safe for you to run, and you should consult a qualified health professional before starting or changing a training program. Stop if you feel unwell.

3. Use License

You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use Pace Buddy on devices you own or control, subject to these terms. Under this license you may not:

• Use the app for any commercial purpose without prior written permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
• Transfer or sub-license your rights to any other person

4. Your Content

You are responsible for ensuring that any training plan you import into Pace Buddy is one you have the right to use. You retain whatever rights you held in a plan you provide; importing it into the app creates no new rights and grants us none.

5. Privacy

Pace Buddy keeps your run and health data in your own device and iCloud account, and does not share it with us. Please read our full Privacy Policy for details.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Pace Buddy is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that GPS pace, distance, heart rate, or any training plan — whether provided by the app, chosen from a template, or imported — will be accurate or suitable for you on any given run.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Pace Buddy, including but not limited to loss of data, or any injury or health consequence connected with your training.

8. Updates and Changes

We may update Pace Buddy or these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the app, or any feature within it, with or without notice.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is based. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that location.
