1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Song Buddy, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Use License

You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use Song Buddy on devices you own or control, subject to these terms. Under this license you may not:

• Use the app for any commercial purpose without prior written permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
• Transfer or sub-license your rights to any other person

3. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Song Buddy is provided as a tool for personal music practice. You are responsible for ensuring that any audio files you use with the app are ones you have the legal right to use. Song Buddy does not grant any rights to copyrighted music.

The stem separation output is derived from audio you provide. You retain whatever rights you held in the original audio; no new rights are created by the separation process.

4. Privacy

Song Buddy processes all audio entirely on your device. No audio files, stems, or personal data are transmitted to any server. Please read our full Privacy Policy for details.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Song Buddy is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that stem separation results will meet your expectations for any given recording.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Song Buddy, including but not limited to loss of data or damage to audio files.

7. Updates and Changes

We may update Song Buddy or these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the app, or any feature within it, with or without notice.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is based. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that location.
